Yeah i still rollerblade. Like 16 years now. I don't know what you would really hear on the streets. Maybe i'm cheap haha.

I got into fixed gear bikes for health reasons after I had a major heart attack in feb 08 & had heart surgry. Wanted to get on a bike & get onto a fixed gear by a buddy who had one. I didn't really start getting into tricks until I hung out w/ Chris Fonseca from SF who moved to OC for a bit. Thats when I started getting into more shit w/ things.
Thats was summer of 2008.
HOLLY SHIT I DID NOT KNOW THAT MAN ! . . SO HOW WAS IT RIDING AND BLADING AFTER SUCH A GNARLY HEALTH ISSUE LIKE THAT ?
Yeah it was crazy. It actually happened when I was surfing one morn., so no it wasn't after a night of cocaine & hookers. Had the heart attack for 3 hours before I got medical attention.
After the surgry I was pretty pissed because I pushing myself to do shit but my body couldn't handle it. Things had to heal. I would get tired fast & shit like that. I did a tour in april up north w/ some friends & thats when I pushed myself & saw things starting to get back. By summer I was killing it.

its ok. i've had it now for bout 2 1/2 years. just grew it out so I can handle bar it. Saw this old dude in SF on tour years back & thought it would be badass to try it. But it seems now that mustaches have become cool so now I can fit in w/ all the hipster crowds.

Its going good. A lot on our plate w/ things. We are stepping things up for the next issue w/ the format. Interbike was great & helped open my eyes to a lot of things. Drunk conversations w/ people helped w/ a bunch of these ideas. GO WHISKEY.
